Known in the industry as “Julius”, Colin has worked within the insurance industry for over thirty years. A true market veteran, he began his career within the professional indemnity market, servicing all professionals including his own peers at Lloyd’s Insurance Brokers.
As the financial institution sector morphed with the explosion of private equity and alternative asset management, he made the move into the Financial Institution (FI) market. An innovative and creative market operator, Colin has found solutions for all of the established, the new and the distressed. He was instrumental in helping the Greek banking community find cover during the collapse of the Greek economy and again at the head of the Lloyd’s market, finding solutions for clients during the global financial crisis. Colin has deep relationships with all key underwriters, within Lloyd’s and company markets.
Colin’s interests span all sports and he also takes a keen interest in the arts, as a collector of alternative graffiti art.
